Here are some pictures of me as I was growing up.
If you wish to see a larger version then just click on the image and one will open for
you. Modern technology, don't you love it?

This is me in 1967. I believe I was about a year
old. Apparently I was "cute"... I'm not quite sure what happened after that! |
This is me with Santa. Of course this is the real
deal and not one of those fake ones that you get in the department stores. Can't you
see my look of awe as I come face to face with Saint Nick?
This was taken in 1970, I was almost five. |

This was taken a few months later... my fifth birthday.
I can remember thinking around that age that ten would be really old: double
figures and all that, just like my parents! How times change... |
September 1977... first day of grammar school. I
heard that they would make the new boy's lives hell. It never happened. What
is the deal with scaring kids going to school anyway? |

Me and my friend Stephen... whatever happened to
Stephen? The last time I saw him he was playing in a rock band and looked EXACTLY
like Meatloaf! For my younger readers, "Meatloaf" is not just a food stuff
(if it can be called that) but also a really, really... fill in the blanks as you wish.
Anyway, looking back, that's all Stephen ever wanted to do was to play
in a rock band. So I guess he's probably a lawyer or something by now! |
Last picture of my formative years. 1983: skiing,
the sport in which I excelled. Apart from the fear caused by reading George Orwell's
"1984" and wondering if he really did have a time machine and was able to look
into the future... it was a pretty good year. |
